Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rescue
Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rescue is a charity entirely run by a small team of dedicated volunteers, ourselves dog owners. We have 3 kennels and a few experienced, well trusted foster homes and always run at full capacity to take in unwanted staffies and then work extremely hard to find loving, new homes for them. Our rescue mainly take referrals from the council pounds, police and social services rather than directly from the general public. We do however help owners who are dying or fleeing domestic violence where we can. Sadly our services are in huge demand, so much so that we operate a waiting list. However by keeping our team small we believe our rescue practices remain thorough and successful. Many of the staffies that come into our care are badly neglected, some have very severe skin issues such as demodex mange that often has been left untreated. It is common that they have had a very poor diet and many are under socialised with other animals and people.
